Ixion

On July 18, 2010, we attempted to observe the Kuiper Belt Object, Ixion. Its predicted shadow path was off of the earth, but because of uncertainties, there was, at best, a 1 in 1000 chance that the object would pass over our location at Williamstown, MA. In the end, our data shows no evidence of the occultation.
